Marketing content
You’ve developed your tech product or honed your digital service with love and care. You’ve spent hours finetuning your marketing content. Now you want to launch in English. That’s where I come in. A number of Japanese and French-speaking tech companies have used my marketing translations to help their business go global.
When marketing your product, cultural barriers are all too common – especially when you’re moving into the English-speaking market. What lands the perfect customers in Japan or French-speaking countries might turn them away in the UK or US.
With formal plain language training and over 6 years of translation and editing experience under my belt, I translate your words into marketing content that’s carefully curated for your target audience. I can work according to your brief or style guide, or write in a bespoke style based on industry practice and my own customer research.
Work with a translator to craft marketing content that truly connects with English-speaking audiences
What marketing materials can I translate?
My marketing translation services cover both B2B and B2C marketing materials for tech companies. I regularly translate the following:
Product demos
Blog posts
Marketing presentations
Press releases
Product packaging
Social media posts
App and website
As of 2026, over 50% of the internet is written in English. And people from English-speaking countries like the UK and USA aren’t the only ones reading it. People from every continent shop online in English – the most common second language worldwide. Break into this vast market by getting your app or website professionally translated.
Translating content for apps and websites brings specific challenges. Firstly, user interface (UI) content, such as buttons and banners, needs to fit strict character limits so that everything fits nicely and looks great on the screen. Secondly, your content needs to integrate perfectly into the user experience (UX) so customers can navigate your app or website without friction or frustration. Drawing from my years of experience, I’ll produce accessible app and web copy that meets your users where they are.

Gaming and VR
To produce virtual worlds that English-speaking gamers and users will love, you need high-quality, culturally adapted writing. And for that, you need a specialised linguist. I’ve been a keen gamer ever since I first picked up a Gameboy in primary school, and have been lucky enough to turn that passion into a key part of my work. I’m the British English lead linguist for a virtual reality (VR) service and a recognised expert in VR localisation, having given a talk on the subject at the 2024 ITI Conference in Edinburgh.
Translating virtual spaces brings unique challenges. Words can appear in a number of ways – from UI prompts, dubbing scripts and subtitles, to text that’s built into the environment itself, like the name of a virtual shop that users can enter and explore. In videogames and VR experiences, text is a key part of the space around it, and users need to be able to navigate these spaces as effectively as possible.
Work with a lifelong gamer and recognised VR localisation expert to ensure each element of your game or experience flows.
