Certified translation service

Are you moving to the UK, or applying to a UK university or job, from Japan or a French-speaking country? Then you probably need a certified translation service. I’m here to help.

What is a certified translation?

Certified translations can be used in formal procedures such as passport and visa applications and legal proceedings such as marriage and divorce. They may also be required when applying for jobs or university courses in the UK.

As a qualified member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) with an MA (Distinction) in Applied Translation Studies, I can translate your documents for use by official bodies in the UK, including:

UK universities

The Passport Office

The UK Border Agency

The Home Office

Most foreign embassies in the UK

My certified translations are always completed in line with industry standards. I will match the formatting of your original document as closely as possible, and provide a certificate that contains the standard wording, signature and seal required by UK official bodies.

A set of MITI seals. Red stickers with the ITI logo and the following text: Qualified Member. MITI. Institute of Translation and Interpreting. www.iti.org.uk.
